I started working in financial services in 2006, spending the next decade working on defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes at Mercer, Capita and a small actuarial consultancy. I then made the leap to the advice sector, becoming a paraplanner in 2016, before joining Haworths in July 2020.
My pensions background helps hugely when supporting advisers with the intricacies involved in pension transfers, however I also have a keen interest in the investment side of the role and keep a keen eye on the markets and geopolitical situations which could affect them. I am working through my qualifications, with the ultimate aim of becoming an adviser myself at some point in the future.
Outside of work I mainly spend my time trying to entertain my three children, however, given the opportunity I enjoy playing and watching football, and attending gigs.
